Procurement Officer Job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the primary representative between our Procurement team and vendors, traveling throughout their State to conduct frequent in-person visits.
2. Maintain a consistent on-site presence at vendor facilities to monitor operations, ensure quality standards, and build strong working relationships through regular face-to-face interactions.
3. Ensure timely dispatch of materials from vendors by physically overseeing critical production phases, resolving operational bottlenecks on-site, and implementing quality control procedures.
4. Assist in new product development by traveling between vendors as needed, coordinating hands-on communication between the design team and production facilities.
5. Provide comprehensive status updates to the head office based on direct field observations and identify potential new vendors through active regional networking and facility visits.
