Procurement Specialist Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Vendor relationship management: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with vendors to ensure smooth procurement operations on a day-to-day basis. Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with vendors in the interior design material industry.
2. Price and Availability Checks: Research and compare prices for required goods and services from various vendors. Verify the availability of items and materials to meet project needs.
3. Purchase Order (PO) Creation: Generate and process purchase orders based on approved requisitions and procurement guidelines. Ensure accuracy and completeness of POs, including item specifications, quantities, and delivery details.
4. Invoice Collection and Processing: Collect invoices from vendors and verify their accuracy against POs and contractual agreements.
5. Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to company policies, procurement procedures, and relevant regulations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in procurement operations.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the Business development team and delivery team to understand procurement needs and priorities. Work closely with other departments to support the overall organizational goal
