Project Engineer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Project management:
i. Assist in planning and scheduling project activities using MS Projects.
ii. Track project progress, update schedules, and report on project milestones.
iii. Ensure timely delivery of project tasks and coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines.
iv. Identify potential project risks and work on mitigation plans.
2. Contract management:
i. Support in reviewing and understanding the terms and conditions of contracts.
ii. Ensure that project activities align with the contract requirements and scope.
iii. Assist in managing and resolving any contract-related issues.
iv. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and vendors to ensure contract obligations are met.
3. Construction management:
i. Assist in the supervision of on-site construction activities to ensure work is being carried out according to plans and standards.
ii. Ensure that the quality of construction meets the design specifications and safety standards.
iii. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of construction tasks.
iv. Conduct site inspections and report on progress to senior project managers.
4. Documentation & reporting:
i. Maintain accurate records of project timelines, progress, and expenditures.
ii. Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly project status reports.
iii. Ensure proper documentation of project designs, technical specifications, and contract changes.
5. Team collaboration:
i. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and construction teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
ii. Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to support project objectives.
6. Compliance & quality assurance:
i. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local laws.
ii. Conduct quality control checks at different project stages and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
iii. Address any non-compliance issues that arise during project execution.
