About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Synthesize and immobilize photocatalysts for solar hydrogen production; conduct advanced material characterization (XRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR, UV-Vis, etc.)
2. Design and execute experiments on solar-driven water splitting, optimize reaction conditions, and analyze performance metrics
3. Utilize programming skills (Python/MATLAB) for data processing, reaction kinetics modeling, and AI/ML applications in catalysis
4. Maintain detailed research records, write reports/publications, and contribute to project presentations & proposal drafting

Other requirements

1. Passion for hydrogen technology research with a keen interest in pursuing a PhD in the field

2. Prior experience with photocatalysis, electrochemistry, or reactor design will be an advantage

3. Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or AI/ML tools for materials science and reaction modeling

4. Experience in writing research papers, patents, or project reports is desirable

5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary research environment
