About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Work on testing all aspects of the software including manual testing of the product
2. Work with the development team to identify and capture test cases, potential flaws, and problems while ensuring quality
3. Work on detecting and reporting any bugs or issues
4. Work on setting up test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases
5. Work on providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to the quality risk, and report it to concerned people
6. Work on resolving test return problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing, and coordinating corrective action measures, and monitoring improvements
7. Work on identifying improvements to the process and assisting in their implementation

Who can apply

1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.

Other requirements

Skills required:

1. Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum

2. Expertise in smoke testing, functional testing, and regression Testing

3. Hands-on experience in writing functional test cases

4. Ability to identify and log defects effectively

5. Good understanding of the manual testing process

6. Experience in mobile testing on both iOS and Android OS devices for native, Hybrid, and mobile web applications

7. Familiarity with Apple and Google UI standards and OS ecosystems

8. Hands-on experience with desktop browsers testing

9. Proficiency in analyzing crash logs, understanding potential root causes, and assigning them to respective engineers

10. Knowledge of different product environments and QA concepts

11. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

12. Collaborate with other QA engineers, cross-functional teams & developers to facilitate/track release process

13. Experience in working with Windows & Linux platforms

14. Experience working with virtual machines

15. Experience in automation for performing report validations
