Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical and physical tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished lubricants according to established standards and procedures (e.g., ASTM series methods and inhouse standards).
Analyse test results and prepare reports to identify any deviations from specifications. Prepare COA to share with customers.
COA specific tests must be performed for every batch.
The product must not be released if it does not pass the standards and NCPR must be released and root cause analysis to be done to fix the problem.
Any additional raw material usage for correction of processed material must be documented and signature to be obtained from higher authorities.
Investigate and troubleshoot quality issues within the production process.
Maintain accurate and complete laboratory documentation in a handwritten notebook as well in the Desktop assigned to you.
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment as per the defined schedule. All calibration records have to be maintained as per ISO 9001:2015 records.
All counter samples of produced batch and raw materials to be maintained as per customer requirement and work instructions provided in ISO.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols for handling industrial lubricant.
Ensure that lab cleanliness is maintained and periodic requests for maintaining the lab inventory of both equipment as well analytical chemicals to be provided to procurement.
Participate in the development and implementation of new quality control procedures.
Stay updated on the latest standards and regulations applicable to the lubricant industry in India.
Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure overall product quality.
