We are looking for a highly motivated R&D Chemist / Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in organic chemistry and a passion for process development in specialty chemicals, particularly in APIs and pharmaceuticals. This role will involve conducting experiments, analyzing data, and contributing to product development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Experimentation:
- Execute experiments according to daily plans, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Maintain detailed laboratory logs and analytical records.
2. Data analysis:
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to support product development and optimization.
- Prepare and present findings to the R&D team in comprehensive reports.
3. Laboratory Management:
- Ensure adherence to safety standards when handling hazardous chemicals, and using appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
4. Process Development:
- Assist in scaling up batches for production, ensuring smooth transitions from lab to plant operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize production processes.
5. Support:
- Help maintain and adapt existing products as needed.
6. Ad Hoc Duties:
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the Department Head to support departmental objectives.
Qualifications:
1. Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in organic chemistry or a related field.
2. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in process development of APIs, pharmaceutical intermediates, or fine chemicals.
Skills:
1. Proficiency in laboratory techniques and analytical methods.
2. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data.
3. Familiarity with safety standards and hazardous material handling.
1. Candidates with minimum 2 years of experience.
