Academic Mentor - Psychology Fresher Job (Remote)

Key responsibilities:

1. Supporting students individually in their online learning experience, acting as a point of contact to address their issues
2. Ensuring the program meets their learning needs and addressing any barriers to learning they may have
3. Monitoring learners' progress in exams through a comprehensive scoring system and providing tailored interventions when necessary
4. Responding to learners' chats/calls promptly and addressing their queries, doubts, and concerns
5. Scheduling weekly calls for each learner and monthly video meetings with student batches
6. Conducting live revision sessions as needed
7. Proofreading assignments (IGNOU) and providing suggestions for changes, if necessary
8. Documenting and tracking detailed information about each learner on a daily basis
9. Ensuring availability for occasional group meetings when necessary
10. Updating day-to-day work through one-on-one meetings with the CEO
11. Escalating concerns to respective academic team members, if needed
12. Staying informed about important IGNOU notifications and ensuring students are well informed about them
13. Managing WhatsApp student groups
14. Ensuring assigned learners maintain active status
15. Reporting feedback and insights from student interactions to the academic team to make necessary changes in teaching strategies and delivery methods
16. Building a database of activities, programs, opportunities, organizations, and individuals that can provide extra support for students
17. Submitting reports on student performance and engagement, and suggesting changes and improvements to the system
