Key responsibilities:
1. Lead the development of assessments in human anatomy and biology, including the design of test items, test construction, and item analysis.
2. Apply psychometric principles and techniques to ensure the reliability, validity, and fairness of assessments.
3. Stay abreast of advances in anatomical and biological research and education, as well as emerging trends in assessment development and educational measurement.
4. Contribute to the continuous improvement of assessment development processes and methodologies, with a focus on enhancing the quality and effectiveness of assessments in human anatomy and biology.
Qualifications:
1. Master's or Ph.D. in anatomy, biology, education, measurement and evaluation, or a related field.
2. Demonstrated expertise in human anatomy, biology, and educational assessment, with a focus on designing assessments for these subject areas.
3. Strong knowledge of anatomical structures, physiological processes, and biological concepts relevant to human anatomy and biology education.
4. Experience with item writing, test construction, and psychometric analysis in the context of educational assessment.
5. Familiarity with standards-based assessment frameworks and curriculum alignment processes in human anatomy and biology education.
