We are looking for a versatile and proactive remote allrounder to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and thrives in a dynamic environment. As a remote allrounder, you will contribute to both the operational and educational aspects of Loyola Tutoring, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and the delivery of high-quality education.
Key responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support:
Manage class schedules, student enrollments, and attendance records.
Handle parent inquiries via email, phone, and WhatsApp professionally and promptly.
Coordinate payments, invoices, and account reconciliations.
2. Virtual Classroom Assistance:
Prepare and distribute digital lesson materials, worksheets, and resources for tutors.
Ensure all virtual tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) are functioning smoothly.
Provide technical support to tutors and students during online classes.
3. Operations and Coordination:
Maintain digital organization of files, lesson plans, and reports.
Monitor and order supplies or subscriptions needed for virtual operations.
Troubleshoot minor IT issues or coordinate with tech support as needed.
4. Marketing and Outreach:
Assist in the creation of newsletters, social media posts, and other marketing content.
Organize and participate in virtual promotional events, webinars, and parent sessions.
Collect and document testimonials from students and parents.
5. Educational Support:
Provide one-on-one assistance to students needing extra help during virtual lessons.
Conduct homework sessions or follow-ups for absent students as needed.
Collaborate with tutors to enhance lesson plans and engagement strategies.
6. Team Collaboration:
Act as the communication bridge between parents, students, and tutors.
Support onboarding and training of new remote staff members.
Propose and implement improvements for processes and student experiences.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong multitasking abilities and an eye for detail.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Familiarity with educational or tutoring environments is a plus.
4. Proficiency in basic software (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace) and virtual meeting tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
5. A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
6. Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate different time zones.
1. Candidate must be available to work from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Indian Standard Time (as the company is based outside of India & their local work timings are 11:00 am - 7:00 pm Western Standard Time (Australia))
Other requirements
1. Maths or physics graduates preferred
2. Exceptional use of English (spoken and written)
