Soch Media is looking for a talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team and help shape engaging, high-impact content for a Gen Z audience. If you're passionate about storytelling, have a keen eye for detail, and can turn raw footage into compelling videos, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review and organize raw footage, including audio, video, and images.
2. Assemble and edit footage into a seamless final product using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
3. Cut and splice clips to create a smooth narrative flow, incorporating special effects, music, and sound designwhere needed.
4. Collaborate with producers and creative leads to align video content with Soch Media's unique style and vision.
5. Ensure all videos meet technical specifications, including aspect ratios, resolution, and color correction.
6. Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, social media, and digital storytelling.
7. Maintain organized records of all projects, including proper backup and archiving.
Requirements:
1. Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
2. Strong storytelling skills with an understanding of pacing, visual aesthetics, and audience engagement.
3. Experience in color correction, sound design, and motion graphics is a plus.
4. Attention to detail and the ability to spot and correct technical or creative issues.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
6. Familiarity with digital and social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) is a bonus.
