About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Cultivate strong business relationships with key decision-makers
2. Identify new opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to customers
3. Develop market strategies by researching lists of high-potential prospects
4. Cultivate solid relationships with clients through the provision of exceptional after-sales service
5. Create a positive onboarding experience for new clients
6. Interact with clients through telephone calls, email communications, or face-to-face meetings
7. Identify ways to overcome clients' initial dislike of company products
8. Maintain an accurate record of all existing and potential clients
9. Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
10. Train and provide overall guidance to client service employees
11. Organize training seminars to enable clients to fully utilize product features and benefits
12. Ensure that the correct terms of sale are entered into the client database to prevent avoidable billing issues

Salary
Duration: 3 months
Salary during probation: ₹15,000 - 16,000 /month
After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,40,000 - 3,00,000 /year

The ideal business development specialist (BDS) candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The BDS's responsibilities include collaborating with the relevant departments to better address client needs, providing regular updates to higher management, and upselling company products where possible. You should also be able to identify new business opportunities through client referrals. To be successful as a business development specialist, you should be committed to helping clients and able to work well under pressure. Ultimately, an outstanding BDS should demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills at all times.
