About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share goals
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Understand client requirements, challenges, and objectives to propose appropriate solutions
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty
3. Product Knowledge:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of power press machines, manufacturing processes, and related technologies
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the power press sector
4. Sales Reporting and Forecasting:
- Provide regular and accurate sales reports, including forecasts, pipeline status, and sales activities
- Analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and growth
- Report to the senior sales manager and work under their guidance
5. Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and product development, to align sales strategies with overall company objectives
- Provide insights and feedback to contribute to product development and marketing initiatives
6. Customer Visits:
- Pay daily visits to different customer ends, to get RFQ, create a large sales funnel, and convert the inquiries into orders

Who can apply

1. Candidates with minimum 2 years of experience.

Other requirements

1. Bachelors degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field

2. Master’s degree in sales & marketing is preferred

3. 2 or 3+ years of experience in sales & marketing

4. Past work experience in the machine tools industry would be preferred

5. Proven experience in sales, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

7. Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset

Annual CTC: ₹ 5,00,000 - 6,00,000 /year
