About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Ensure accurate record-keeping of financial transactions
2. Work on reconciliation of bank statements with bookkeeping records
3. Manage invoicing, payments, and tracking expenses
4. Create financial reports for business health insights
5. Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
6. Stay updated with financial regulations and tax law changes
7. Work on financial data analysis for identifying trends or cost-saving opportunities
8. Utilize proficiency in accounting and bookkeeping software
9. Utilize effective communication to ensure financial practices are followed
10. Work on payroll processing, including deductions for taxes and national insurance
11. Work on the preparation and submission of VAT returns in line with HMRC guidelines
12. Assist with tax return preparation and compliance with UK tax laws

4. Knowledge of both UK and Indian financial regulations and tax laws

5. Familiarity with international taxation principles, including DTAAs between the UK and India
