An 'Acquisition and Asset Management Analyst' supports the acquisition and asset management functions of our real estate investment firm and development company. They are responsible for conducting market research, analyzing financial data, and assisting in the management of assets after acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research: The Acquisition and Asset Management Analyst conducts market research to identify potential real estate investment opportunities and monitor market trends.
2. Financial Analysis: The Acquisition and Asset Management Analyst performs financial analysis, including financial modeling and pro forma analysis, to evaluate potential investment opportunities and identify areas for improvement.
3. Due Diligence: The Acquisition and Asset Management Analyst assists in conducting due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including reviewing financial statements, property information, and legal documents.
4. Asset Management: The Acquisition and Asset Management Analyst assists in the management of assets after acquisition, including monitoring property performance, preparing financial reports, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
5. Reporting: The Acquisition and Asset Management Analyst provides regular reports to senior management, investors, and lenders on the performance of assets, investment strategies, and other relevant information.
6. Investor Relations: The Acquisition and Asset Management Analyst communicates regularly with investors to provide updates on investments and respond to inquiries.
7. Collaboration: The Acquisition and Asset Management Analyst collaborates with other departments, including property management, leasing, and construction, to ensure effective asset management.
Who you are and what you bring:
1. A bachelor's degree in finance, business, real estate, or a related field is typically required for this position.
2. At least 1-2 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, or related fields.
3. Strong financial analysis skills and experience with financial modeling software.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Knowledge of real estate market trends and competitive factors.
7. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
8. Experience with due diligence and underwriting of potential investment opportunities is a plus.
