Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement Datadog monitoring solutions for complex cloud environments using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
2. Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports providing real-time insights into system performance.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system monitoring.
4. Automate monitoring processes using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to ensure scalability and efficiency.
5. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in monitoring and alerting to continuously improve our monitoring strategy.
6. Mentor and train junior team members on Datadog best practices and technologies.
7. Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for monitoring issues outside business hours.

1. The project is about retiring the self-hosted monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK implementations) and moving them to Datadog.
2. The request is to have an advanced monitoring and alerting mechanism by using Datadog.
3. For the above task, we need the Architect to explore the datadog capabilities and check the fitment in existing clients' applications to formulate the implementation proposal.
