As the 'Event Production Team Lead (TL)', you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring timely delivery within budget and up to the highest standards. This role demands strong leadership, creative problem-solving, and substantial event production experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project management:
a. Lead event production from concept to post-event review.
b. Develop schedules, timelines, and task lists.
c. Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
2. Team leadership:
a. Manage and mentor the production team.
b. Foster a collaborative, creative environment.
c. Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress.
3. Budget management:
a. Develop and manage event budgets.
b. Negotiate with vendors for the best rates.
c. Provide financial reports to the Production Manager.
4. Logistics and operations:
a. Oversee event logistics (staging, lighting, sound, etc.).
b. Ensure all permits, licenses, and insurance are secured.
c. Coordinate logistical needs for the event crew.
5. Quality control:
a. Ensure all event elements meet quality standards.
b. Conduct site inspections and resolve issues during events.
6. Client relations:
a. Serve as the primary client contact during production.
b. Provide progress updates and address concerns.
7. Post-event analysis:
a. Lead post-event debriefs and prepare comprehensive reports.
b. Implement improvements for future projects.
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Experience: 2-3 years in event production, with 1+ years in a leadership role.
3. Skills: Project management, communication, event management tools, negotiation, creative problem-solving, ability to handle pressure.
