About the job

As a Full Stack Developer at PlayTheory Labs, you will be responsible for working on a variety of products using your expertise in Node.js, ReactJS, MongoDB, Stripe Payment API, Express.js & others. You'll be making sure our products are performant & reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Building, improving & maintaining Node.js, Express.js, and APIs.
2. Uploading/Updating data to MongoDB using Mongoose.
3. Creating & updating indexes & aggregations for query performance.
4. Creating & maintaining payment integration with our products with Stripe API or any equivalent.
5. Working on Clerk/JWT for authentication.
6. Updating Webapp frontends built with React.js.
7. Creating setups & maintaining a centralized logging system using Axiom/other logging tools.
8. Troubleshooting or debugging any issues.
9. Working on Cloud computing, mainly on DigitalOcean Droplets & AWS EC2.
10. Working on caching middleware & a key management 3rd party tool.
11. Writing the tests to be written using Mocha/Jest/Playwright.
