Gujarati Language Interpreter Job (Remote)

Key Responsibilities:

This is a full-time remote position for a Language Interpreter. The Language Interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate interpretation between Gujarati and English during telephone and video conversations involving individuals from diverse language backgrounds. Key responsibilities include actively listening to speakers to ensure correct interpretation, asking clarifying questions when necessary, and maintaining neutrality and impartiality throughout the interpretation process.

Qualifications:

1. Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Gujarati and English is essential.
2. Interpreting Skills: Excellent interpreting and cultural mediation skills.
3. Experience: Background in interpretation, translation, or related language fields.
4. Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.
5. Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts.
6. Confidentiality: Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
7. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Windows, and other relevant software.
8. Educational Background: A bachelor's degree or higher in French, Linguistics, Translation, or a related field is a plus; HSC fresher or graduate fresher candidates are also encouraged to apply.
