We are seeking to hire a human resource generalist to manage the daily operations of the HR department. This includes hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Key responsibilities:
1. Review and track compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory documentation.
2. Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring process for qualified candidates; collaborate with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for open positions.
3. Conduct background checks and verify employee eligibility.
4. Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
5. Administer and execute various HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary actions, dispute resolution, performance management, productivity, recognition, morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
6. Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
7. Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
8. Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations, as well as best practices; regularly review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
9. Stay updated on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
