We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to design and develop engaging eLearning content. This role involves storyboarding, scripting, and structuring digital learning materials, ensuring alignment with instructional best practices and learning objectives.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in instructional design principles, scriptwriting, and digital learning development, ensuring that learning materials are engaging, interactive, and pedagogically sound.
Key Responsibilities:
a. Content Design & Storyboarding:
1. Develop clear, engaging storyboards for eLearning modules, video scripts, and interactive lessons.
2. Align content with learning objectives (LOs) and blueprints while maintaining engagement.
3. Write hooks, introductions, reflection prompts, quizzes, and summaries to enhance learning.
4. Script animations and instructional videos, ensuring proper pacing and clarity.
5. Use concise and pedagogically appropriate language tailored for different audiences (students, professionals, etc.).
b. Instructional Development:
1. Apply learning theories (ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, etc.) to structure effective training materials.
2. Design interactive learning experiences (quizzes, simulations, and multimedia elements).
3. Ensure proper chunking, flow, and readability for diverse learning audiences.
4. Ensure proper parallelism, sentence structure, and instructional tone in writing.
5. Integrate learning interactions (tabs, accordions, infographics, simulations) to enhance engagement.
c. Quality & Compliance:
1. Ensure content follows style guidelines (CMOS/US English) and accessibility standards (WCAG).
2. Maintain grammar, consistency, and format accuracy across storyboards.
3. Work with SMEs and developers to refine and optimize content for digital platforms.
d. Collaboration & Project Management
1. Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), designers, and developers to align content with goals.
2. Provide clear development notes for multimedia production teams.
3. Revise and refine content based on stakeholder feedback and quality reviews.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. 1+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning, or content development.
2. Strong storyboarding & scriptwriting skills for digital learning.
3. Knowledge of instructional models (ADDIE, SAM) and learning strategies.
4. Ability to write engaging, clear, and pedagogically sound content.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) and instructional design tools.
6. Experience with interactive learning elements (drag-drop, MCQs, scenarios, etc.).
7. Excellent grammar, writing, and formatting skills.

9. Experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate).
10. Exposure to video scriptwriting & multimedia production.
11. Knowledge of SCORM/xAPI and LMS integration.
12. Understanding of accessibility standards (508 Compliance, WCAG).
