Journal Paper Publication Specialist Job (Remote)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented journal paper publication specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the scientific publication process and be responsible for guiding and supporting researchers in the successful publication of their research findings in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive support to researchers throughout the publication process, from manuscript preparation and submission to post-publication activities.
2. Assist researchers in identifying suitable target journals and preparing high-quality manuscripts for submission.
3. Conduct thorough literature reviews and provide feedback on manuscript drafts, including clarity, conciseness, and adherence to journal guidelines.
4. Assist with the preparation of figures, tables, and supplementary materials.
5. Handle all aspects of journal submission, including online submission portals, author correspondence, and tracking submissions.
6. Monitor the peer-review process, communicate with journal editors and reviewers, and address reviewer comments effectively.
7. Manage post-publication activities, including copyright issues, open access options, and citation tracking.
8. Stay updated on best practices in scientific writing, publication ethics, and the latest developments in scholarly communication.
9. Maintain accurate records of all publications and publication-related activities.
10. May be involved in grant writing and proposal development.
