We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Mathematics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in various prestigious mathematics examinations, including the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), Indian National Mathematics Olympiad (INMO), Regional Mathematics Olympiad (RMO), JEE Main (math section only), JEE Advanced (math section only), ISI B.Stat Entrance exam, and CMI Entrance exam. The SME will be responsible for curating a comprehensive database of mathematics questions and solutions, formatted in both plain text and LaTeX.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Curate and Compile Questions: Gather and compile mathematics questions from specified exams, ensuring they are from publicly accessible sources and exclude those needing accompanying images.
2. Metadata Management: Record comprehensive metadata for each question, including exam, year, question number, and type.
3. Data Storage: Store questions in CSV files with columns for question text, type (MCQ, Integer, Numeric, etc.), correct answer, topic (algebra, geometry, etc.), and two versions (normal text and LaTeX).
4. Question Formatting: Convert all questions into LaTeX format, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
5. Question Categorization: Classify each question by topic such as algebra, geometry, number theory, and combinatorics.
6. Solution Development: Create detailed and structured solutions for each question.
7. Quality Assurance: Ensure all solutions are accurate, clear, and correctly formatted.
Requirements:
1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field.
2. Exam Performance: Proven track record of appearing in or clearing IMO, INMO, RMO, JEE Main (math section), JEE Advanced (math section), ISI B.Stat Entrance, and CMI Entrance exams.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in LaTeX for mathematical typesetting and familiarity with CSV file format.
4. Data Management: Ability to curate, compile, and store mathematics questions in CSV files with specified columns.
5. Question Formatting: Skill in converting mathematical questions into accurate and clear LaTeX format.
6. Solution Development: Experience in creating detailed and structured solutions for mathematics questions.
7. Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and ability to ensure accuracy and clarity in all tasks.
