Translator-English<>Hindi -(Political Science) Job (Part time/Remote)

Are you a talented translator with a passion for politics and a knack for creative writing? Solvitude is seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Translation Specialist for English to Hindi. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for translating and proofreading political documents, transcribing important speeches, and ensuring accurate communication between English and Hindi speakers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Translate political documents and speeches from English to Hindi and vice versa.
2. Proofread and edit translated content to ensure accuracy and quality.
3. Transcribe significant political speeches and discussions for reference.
4. Utilize MS Word, MS Excel, or Portal or platform to create and edit documents.
5. Demonstrate proficiency in both spoken and written English and Hindi.
6. Familiarity with British English and Hindi for efficient communication.
7. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality translations and maintain consistency in language and tone.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working on an ongoing political domain project
2. Doing language pairing i.e. English<>Hindi
3. Working on machine translation post-editing (MT-PE)
4. Working live on a platform
5. Completing at least 1500-2500 words per day

Other requirements:

1. Experience in translating/post-editing political domain-related texts
2. Is available for the next 2 months
3. Has a daily capacity of finalizing 2000+ words
4. Has worked earlier on some tools like Prabandhak, etc.
5. Can communicate effectively
