About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and execute performance tests: Simulate various user interactions, system loads, and scenarios using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling to ensure application responsiveness and reliability.
2. Analyze system performance: Identify bottlenecks, potential improvements, and overall application performance under stress, load, and endurance testing.
3. Work closely with development teams: Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to recommend performance optimizations and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
4. Monitor and assess system metrics: Collect and analyze application metrics such as CPU usage, memory consumption, network latency, and database performance to ensure applications meet performance requirements.
5. Automate performance tests: Implement and maintain automated performance tests using tools and frameworks for continuous testing.
6. Document performance test results: Provide detailed reports and recommendations on performance issues and improvements to stakeholders.
7. Develop test strategies: Create performance testing strategies and plans for different application layers (e.g., front-end, back-end, API, database).
8. Simulate real-world scenarios: Design test cases to simulate real-world usage patterns, varying network conditions, concurrent user load, and data processing activities.
9. Propose scalability solutions: Work on identifying potential scalability issues and propose solutions to ensure the system can handle expected and unexpected workloads.

1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.

Other requirements

1. Proven experience in performance testing for web, mobile, and backend systems.

2. Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Neoload, or similar.

3. Strong knowledge of load testing frameworks and best practices.

4. Understanding of system architecture and ability to identify performance bottlenecks in distributed systems, APIs, databases, and web applications.

5. Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace) to assess system performance metrics.

6. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.) to create customized test cases and performance scripts.

7. Experience in cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for testing scalable systems.

8. Understanding of network latency, bandwidth constraints, and caching techniques in performance testing.

9. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical details effectively.

10. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests within automated build environments.

11. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
