About the role: We are looking to hire a PR associate who will be responsible for supporting overall account performance as it relates to client service and quality control on multiple sizable pieces of business. They should understand, identify and execute communication approaches for clients beyond media relations and recommend a holistic communication strategy to clients.
Key responsibilities:
1. Research, plan, and develop comprehensive integrated communications marketing campaigns
2. Ensure deadline adherence, reaction to industry trends, and ensure plan execution maps to client objectives within the budget
3. Work on solicit counseling of senior staff and consultants when needed and appropriate
4. Champion integration of teams; use skillset of other teams at Lumos labs to ensure excellent meet client goals
5. Demonstrate writing excellence when crafting internal and client correspondence, communications plans, press materials, new business proposals, etc.
6. Set and lead media relations course, including outreach plan creation, executive thought-leadership planning, drafting of materials, event management, growth of contact network, and effective pitching and training of spokespersons on speeches and presentations
7. Demonstrate practical and applied understanding of visual communications, social media, and the digital landscape and how to incorporate these channels into client programs with digital tools, such as blogs, widgets, and mobile applications
8. Generate original ideas for sustainable online community engagement, creates and successfully integrate them into plans, and measure and evaluate them against goals
Requirements:
1. At least 0 -2 years of relevant experience in public relations/communications marketing and/or related fields managing clients in the space of retail/corporate/B2B
2. Good understanding of general tech (brownie points if you know blockchain)
3. Superior written and verbal communications skills; demonstrated ability to effectively multitask, delegate and manage assignments and accurately evaluate others work
4. Familiar with best-practice integrated marketing communications tactics and tools
5. Ability to act as daily client contact for multiple clients simultaneously and execute communications strategies along with entailed processes seamlessly
6. Existing media relations in the technology space and the ability to network and build the network further
