1. Achieve specified targets and increase market share
2. Retain existing key accounts and develop new ones
3. Independently manage and increase business opportunities to maximize sales
4. Formulate and implement weekly sales plans and build relationships with customers
5. Generate leads through personal visits, internet, telephone, and promotional activities
6. Set up meetings with customers to understand their needs, discuss potential leads with the manager, and seek inputs to qualify the lead
7. Select and size product offerings for customers
8. Prepare sales quotes, discuss with customers, and handle customer queries
9. Update sales quotes and seek guidance on deal closure
10. Conduct techno-commercial discussions and negotiations with customers
11. Liaise with other departments like manufacturing, engineering, projects, purchase, and commercial to ensure effective customer communication
12. Follow up on pending receivables
13. Gather understanding of competitors, market, and industry trends to stay competitive
14. Implement territory management and segmentation approaches for better market reach
Qualification:
1. B.E. Chemical (preferred) or B.E. Mechanical
2. 1-3 years of experience in field sales of industrial equipment with an understanding of industrial processes and products such as filtration & drying systems, chilling systems, cooling towers, process heat exchangers, and process pumps and valves
3. Sales and negotiation skills
4. Technical acumen
5. Good communication skills
6. Decent presentation skills
7. Teamwork skills
