1. Salesforce Configuration and Maintenance: Implement advanced configurations such as custom objects, fields, formulas, workflows, process builders, and validation rules. Administer user setup, roles, profiles, and other foundational settings.
2. System Integration: Utilize REST and SOAP APIs, as well as middleware solutions, to integrate Salesforce with external systems including ERP platforms, marketing automation tools, and other third-party solutions like Conga.
3. Data Management and Security: Oversee data integrity and security within Salesforce by implementing best practices in data cleansing, deduplication, and hierarchical security models including role hierarchies, sharing rules, and profiles.
4. Customization and Automation: Leverage Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Apex triggers to automate business processes and improve efficiencies. Experience in custom development using Apex is a plus.
5. Agile Project Management: Participate in Agile project management activities including sprint planning, story estimation, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
6. Reporting and Analytics: Develop complex reports and dashboards to track key business metrics. Utilize Salesforce report builder, custom report types, and SOQL for deep-dive analytics and custom queries.
7. Stakeholder Engagement: Work directly with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. Provide ongoing training and support to end-users, enhancing user adoption and proficiency with the platform.
8. Platform Updates and Custom Solutions: Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and updates, applying upgrades and custom solutions to enhance platform functionality and performance.
2. 2 - 5 years of direct experience in Salesforce development and customization with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data model.
3. Experience with Salesforce integrations and familiarity with common integration patterns and tools.
4. Proficient in Salesforce automation tools, including Process Builder, Flow, and ideally some exposure to Apex.
5. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to manage complex systems in a fast-paced environment.
6. Outstanding communication skills, capable of working collaboratively across functional teams and with direct client interaction.
