The introduction of renewable energy is progressing rapidly around the world. In response to this trend, technological innovation in the world of smart grids is progressing at a tremendous pace. We would like to work with engineers who want to change the world in a challenging environment.
Key responsibilities:
1. You will be working in a team. When assigned a ticket, you implement it based on the instructions, create a PULL Request, and fix the comments by reviewers. You will also review the pull requests created by your team members. So this is a very interactive development work.
2. You will be assigned to a project which controls storage batteries to keep facility power usage below a certain level.
The project will also create an arbitrage plan using the solar power generation installed in the facility.
3. You will develop solutions that integrate multiple applications. After implementation, you would move to the testing phase and test whether it works as required.
1. Candidates with minimum 2 years of experience.
2. Candidate must be available to work from 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm Indian Standard Time (as the company is based outside of India & their local work timings are 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm India Standard Time)
1. Experience with Scala programming is preferred, but those with Java 8 or higher experience are also welcome (Java developers can learn Scala easily compared to other developers).
2. Backend development experience using frameworks
3. Experience in designing and implementing unit tests
