We are seeking a skilled and creative video editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, a keen eye for detail, and experience in creating engaging video content for social media platforms. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring high-quality video productions that align with our brand's vision.
Key responsibilities:
1. Video Editing:
- Edit video footage to create compelling, high-quality videos for various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
- Use video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools to edit and finalize videos.
- Ensure all videos are optimized for different formats and resolutions.
2. Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the content team to develop video concepts that align with our brand's strategy and goals.
- Create engaging thumbnails and captions to enhance video performance on social media.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in social media video content.
3. Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
- Coordinate with other departments (marketing, creative) to ensure cohesive messaging across all campaigns.
4. Quality Control:
- Review and ensure all videos meet the company's quality standards before publication.
- Make necessary adjustments based on feedback from the team or client.
5. Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the creative team to ensure consistency in branding and messaging.
- Communicate effectively with clients or internal stakeholders regarding project progress and feedback.
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing and creating content specifically for social media platforms.
Bachelor's degree in film production, media studies, communications, or a related field.
Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of social media trends and best practices for video content.
Knowledge of color correction and grading techniques.
Understanding of audio editing principles and ability to sync audio with video.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Certifications in video editing or related fields are a plus.
Additional Software Skills: Familiarity with motion graphics tools like After Effects or Blender is advantageous.
Creative Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your previous work in social media video editing is highly desirable.
