About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Analyzing and following a script, screenplay, or outline when performing edits
2. Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voice-overs
3. Adding graphics to enhance footage
4. Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file
5. Improving and correcting lighting, coloring, and faulty footage
6. Working closely with Directors to present a final product that matches their vision
7. Making revisions to edits upon request
