The ideal candidate will be a generalist with experience in research, analysis, and documentation across various fields, including national and international politics, governance, public policy, corporate startups, and more. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent writing and presentation abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on a wide range of topics relevant to the organization's interests and objectives.
2. Prepare detailed research documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and insights effectively.
3. Analyse qualitative and quantitative data using advanced tools and techniques to derive meaningful insights.
4. Collaborate with various teams and founders to support multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, using agile methodologies.
5. Author compelling opinion pieces, articles, and reports on relevant topics for publication on various platforms.
1. Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as political science, economics, business, or public policy.
2. 0 to 5 years of experience in research, analysis, or a related field.
3. Appeared for and cleared at least the UPSC Civil Services Examination Prelims.
4. Strong research and analytical skills across multiple domains.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling reports and presentations.
6. Proficiency in Excel operations and data analysis, presentation tools, and generative AI tools.
7. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Strong collaboration and cross-functional teamwork skills.
9. Quick learning capabilities and smart research methodology.
10. Excellent summarization skills.
11. Decent quantitative and statistical skills.
12. Good understanding of politics, governance, international affairs, business, finance, and other related fields.
