About the job

LimeTray is looking for a 'Retail Sales Lead' to drive sales growth and lead a team of 5-7 Inside sales managers. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales leadership within a retail or B2B SaaS environment and must be comfortable working with a fixed base salary and performance-based variable pay. The Retail Sales Lead will be responsible for managing team performance, developing sales strategies, and driving results to achieve revenue targets. This is a work-from-office role.
Note: Having a laptop is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5-7 Inside Sales Managers, ensuring they achieve both individual and team sales targets
2. Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the retail sector.
3. Performance Monitoring: Assess sales performance, analyze metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management, implementing corrective actions as needed.
4. Customer Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
5. Training and Development: Facilitate training sessions to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
6. Cold Calling: Conduct cold calls as needed to convert leads into successful client onboarding.
7. Sales Forecasting and Planning: Set performance goals, forecast sales targets, and develop monthly and quarterly sales plans.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and other departments to ensure sales efforts align with overall company objectives.
9. Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

3. Leadership skills: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a sales team.

4. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

5. Analytical skills: Proficient in analyzing sales data to optimize strategies.

6. Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

7. Mandatory: Must possess a laptop.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a SaaS company or B2B sales environment.

Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
