Sales Coordinator Job

We are looking for proactive and detail-oriented sales coordinator to bridge the gap between sales and operations teams. The role will involve processing orders, coordinating transportation, providing customer updates, and ensuring smooth order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities:

1. Order Processing: Accurately receive and process customer orders, verifying details, checking inventory availability, and generating necessary documentation.
2. Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates on order status, addressing delivery inquiries, and resolving issues as they arise.
3. Transportation Coordination: Organize shipping methods, select carriers, and manage pick-up and delivery schedules, ensuring customer requirements and logistical constraints are met.
4. Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels and collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
5. Accounts Receivable Management: Follow up with customers to ensure timely payment collection and account reconciliation.

Required skills:

Strong communication skills: Effectively communicating with customers, sales team, and logistics providers to manage expectations and resolve issues.
Logistics knowledge: Understanding of shipping methods, freight calculations, and industry standards.
Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in order processing, data entry, and documentation.
Problem-solving abilities: Identifying and resolving logistics challenges that may arise during order fulfilment.
Organizational skills: Managing multiple orders and priorities simultaneously while maintaining efficiency.
Proactiveness: Demonstrated ability to proactively follow up on accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment collection and account management.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or related position.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Leadership and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.

Location:

Kolkata (6 days a week) - Sector 5 and Jangalpur
Occasional travel to Orissa, Bihar, and Jharkhand.
