About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and Implement Sales Strategies - Design and execute effective sales plans aligned with the company's goals and market opportunities. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
2. Manage and Motivate the Sales Team - Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives to ensure they meet sales targets. Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and support.
3. Generate and Convert Leads - Identify and generate new business leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and online marketing. Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present the company s products and services.
4. Build and Maintain Customer Relationships - Develop and nurture long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. Manage key accounts and act as a point of contact for major clients.
5. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams - Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives. Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management.
6. Optimize Sales Operations - Ensure effective use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to track sales activities and client interactions. Continuously assess and improve sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Other requirements

1. Completed a degree in Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

2. Good knowledge of using the internet and conducting secondary research to generate leads and understand trends in the market.

3. Understanding the sales funnel.

4. An understanding of the education sector with reference to K10, K12, and Undergraduate institutions.
