About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Taking charge for implementation/review of statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Labor laws etc.)
2. Assisting with testing internal process controls and developing internal audit plans by utilizing the latest technology and leading practices.
3. Conducting reviews of systems, processes and internal controls.
4. Evaluating the current risk management environment.
5. Designing and implementing solutions to identify, assess and improve risk management capabilities.
6. Assisting clients in addressing compliance, financial, operational and strategic risk.
7. Providing recommendations to clients for improvement or remediation and draft reports on key issues.
8. Handling tax audits, filing of returns, department correspondence.
9. Managing the computation of advance tax, GST & other statutory liabilities.
10 Preparing financial statements - Balance sheet, profit & loss, cash flow statements.
11. Conducting audits under various statutes (statutory, internal, forensics, tax) along-with due diligence.
12. Processing audits and compliance health checks.

Who can apply

1. Candidates with minimum 3 years of experience.

Other requirements

1. Semi-qualified CA/CA dropout having relevant exposure of 2 years in any reputed firm.

2. Good communication skills.

3. Ability to finalize annual reports/ accounts.

4. Proven experience in the field of audit and compliance.

5. Must be able to evaluate, file, compile and present tax audit reports.

6. Proven experience in balance sheet drafting.

7. Ability to undertake financial audits (an independent check of an organization’s financial position).

8. Should have problem-solving skills to determine where errors might be occurring or to suggest ideas that would benefit the clients.

9. Advanced knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.

10. Ability to work under pressure.

11. Technically sound across various areas of finance including taxation and Cos. Act compliance.

12. Efficient in Payroll processing.

13. Technically well-versed in the field of process audit, internal audit, statutory audit and tax audit.

14. Experience in handling direct and indirect tax litigation.
