About the job

We are seeking an experienced senior front-end React developer to lead the development of complex, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of React and its ecosystem, with a proven track record of building scalable and maintainable front-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing new user-facing features using React.js and related technologies
2. Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
3. Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
4. Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
5. Participating in software architecture discussions and contributing to technical decision-making
6. Mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews
7. Collaborating with back-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience
8. Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
9. Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs
10. Helping maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
11. Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Other requirements

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 3 years focused on React.js

2. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

3. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

4. Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

5. Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

6. Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

7. Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus

8. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL

9. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.

10. Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git

11. Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them

12. Familiarity with testing libraries such as Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library

13. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

14. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred qualifications:

1. Experience with TypeScript

2. Familiarity with server-side rendering and Next.js

3. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

4. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

5. Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes

6. Contributions to open-source projects
