Senior Interior Designer Job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Meet with clients to determine their design needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
2. Understand and interpret clients' design briefs, and develop design concepts that align with their vision and functional requirements.
3. Create detailed and accurate floor plans, and design presentations to communicate design ideas to clients and project stakeholders.
4. Select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories to create cohesive and visually appealing interior spaces.
5. Provide guidance and direction to junior designers and design assistants, and oversee their work to ensure design integrity and quality.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and innovative design techniques to incorporate fresh and creative ideas into projects.
7. Conduct site visits to assess existing spaces, take measurements and coordinate with contractors.
8. Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, schedules, and drawings, for implementation by contractors and suppliers.
9. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
10. Provide ongoing project support, including attending meetings, addressing client concerns, and resolving design-related issues.
11. Maintain accurate project records, including documentation of design changes, approvals, and project progress.
12. Uphold and promote the company's design standards, values, and brand image.
