Senior Interior Designer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Oversee day-to-day tasks related to interior design projects
2. Manage space planning and conduct detailed site surveys
3. Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure project requirements are met
4. Create construction drawings and detailed plans for implementation
5. Select FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) that align with design goals and client preferences
6. Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals
7. Ensure all design elements comply with industry standards and regulations
8. Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members and coordinate efforts across the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in interior design with a portfolio of completed projects
2. Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar)
3. Excellent communication skills for client and contractor coordination
4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
5. Strong understanding of FF&E selection and sourcing
6. Experience in space planning and site survey assessments
