Senior Manager - Controllership Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Design and implement a comprehensive SOX/ICOFR control framework for all in-scope business processes
2. Perform thorough control design and operating environment reviews for the in-scope business processes
3. Guide the team members and review the work performed to ensure quality and consistency
4. Maintain a central repository for documentation of controls across all in-scope processes
5. Identify gaps in the control process and operating environment for all in scope
6. Take proactive measures to mitigate the gaps and strengthen the business control processes
7. Report the SOX compliance status and action plans to senior management of Flipkart
8. Coordinate with the internal audit team and independent auditors as the single point of contact for SOX compliance-related communication and escalation
9. Manage the ICOFR program for the Flipkart group
10. Assist senior management in defining control objectives and monitoring compliance efforts
11. Develop processes to ensure compliance with all SOX requirements
12. Design and administer internal controls over financial reporting related to business processes and report test results to top management
13. Review test findings with the internal/external audit team, facilitate remediation of control gaps, and escalate critical issues to senior management
14. Serve as a liaison between internal and external auditors and stay abreast of changes in SOX regulations to ensure timely compliance
15. Identify areas of potential improvement for key processes and procedures and support the management in related processes and procedures
16. Maintain and update all aspects of the internal SOX compliance
17. Work with different business owners on the implementation, execution, and compliance with entity-level controls
18. Evaluate, review, and analyze data pertaining to information systems functions relative to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
19. Develop and conduct SOX compliance training for control owners and control operators
