About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Answering inbound queries with technical know-how and expertise
2. Identify and approach potential customers, both individuals and businesses, to generate sales leads
3. Prepare and present competitive proposals and contracts to clients
4. Identify and target potential clients in various industries by analyzing data
5. Doing and Maintaining strong follow-ups and meetings to ensure the client is well catered to and responded
6. Instructing and managing Data and Research team for finding potential contacts and clients
7. Fixing appointments and creating schedule and meetings for approaching the right set of targeted clients
8. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
9. Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients
10. Meet or exceed projected sales numbers by closing clients and negotiating contracts
11. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and marketing campaigns
12. Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to adapt sales tactics accordingl

Who can apply

1. Candidates with minimum 2 years of experience.

2. Those who are from or open to relocate to Chennai, Mumbai and neighboring cities

Other requirements

1. Proven experience as a field sales executive in the freight forwarding or Custom Clearance or Shipping or logistics industry 

2. English Tamil & Marathi language with good communication skills is mandatory

3. In-depth knowledge of international logistics including but not limited to freight forwarding processes, Jargon, regulations, and industry standards

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills especially in English

5. Demonstrated ability to meet, and sales target

6. Should have experience in handling field sales meetings i.e. meeting with clients and building relationships and understanding their needs.

7. Strong negotiation & closing skills

8. Customer-centric approach with a passion for building and maintaining client relationships

9. Self motivated and results oriented

10. Looking for only those candidates who have knowledge in freight forwarding, logistics & supply chain

11. Candidates who have experience in sales

12. Looking for male candidates
