Key Responsibilities:

1. Deploy and optimize computer vision and deep learning models on Jetson family hardware platforms.
2. Develop software to interface with sensors, cameras, and other peripherals to enable efficient data acquisition and processing.
3. Implement and optimize algorithms for real-time applications, ensuring low latency and high performance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
5. Perform model compression, distillation, pruning, and quantization techniques to optimize model size and improve inference speed.
6. Debug and troubleshoot software and hardware issues on embedded systems.
7. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.

2. 3-5 years of experience in embedded software development, with a focus on computer vision and deep learning.

3. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.

4. Solid understanding of embedded systems, including hardware-software interaction, memory management, and real-time constraints.

5. Experience with Jetson family hardware platforms and familiarity with NVIDIA CUDA programming.

6. Interest in space, satellites, or geospatial data as a hobby.

7. Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.

8. Familiarity with model compression techniques, including distillation, pruning, quantization, and optimization for resource-constrained devices.

9. Experience with integrating and optimizing computer vision algorithms on embedded platforms.

10. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

11. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

12. Skills that will give you an edge.

13. Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and Linux kernel development.

14. Understanding of image and video processing techniques.

15. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

16. Background in engineering or experience with data-science or cloud-hosted products.
