Strong automation background in automating web applications using Selenium WebDriver with Java.Job Role:
Work as part of a team to perform verification and validation automation for new product development (NPD) and sustenance products.
End-to-end automation of software applications that interact with hardware for Fire domain products.
Ensure quality delivery of the product.
Develop test cases based on requirements and create test plan documents.
Achieve 100% automation of test cases with CI/CD for embedded devices.Key Responsibilities:
Support the continued design, development, and quality delivery of software applications, including mobile apps that interact with hardware for Fire domain products.
Write and execute test cases conforming to technical and functional specifications for software applications.
Design automation strategies and develop automation frameworks and scripts.
Automate test cases according to the test strategy with programming knowledge.
Adhere to test frameworks and standards with a focus on the reusability of test scripts.
Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive set of test cases for Fire domain products and enhancements.
Gain knowledge of processes and tools used by the Test Engineering team and apply them as needed.
Document and present test results according to QA policies and procedures.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to resolve complex technical/architectural issues.
Provide QA guidance and technical support to the product development team.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.
Actively participate in knowledge transfer sessions.
Contribute ideas for product and process improvements.
Participate in design review sessions.
Be flexible to work on manual testing and automation based on business needs.
Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly.
