We are seeking an experienced Embedded IoT Automation Testing Engineer with a strong background in testing embedded products and systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-15 years of experience in embedded product system testing and a proven track record in testing various embedded devices and gateways.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform comprehensive testing of embedded devices, including smoke detectors, IP cameras, thermostats, and gateways from Intel, Dell, Samsung, and Philips.
2. Test and validate Voice Assistant products for functionality and performance.
3. Work with short-range communication protocols such as BLE, Z-Wave, WiFi, and ZigBee.
4. Conduct IoT edge firmware and cloud connectivity testing, particularly with Azure.
5. Understand and test IoT platforms and ensure seamless integration.
6. Execute REST API testing to validate backend services.
7. Develop and execute test automation scripts using Python, with a focus on object-oriented programming.
8. Utilize test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework or pytest to enhance testing efficiency.
9. Follow and contribute to Agile testing processes and other SDLC methodologies.
10. Utilize GIT or other software configuration management tools effectively.
11. Track and manage bugs using JIRA or similar tools.
12. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
