Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress plugins and theme development, customization, API development, SEO, and performance optimization. You will also be familiar in integrating React. js-based frameworks and third-party APIs, with extensive experience in WooCommerce, Divi, and Elementor tools. Additionally, you should have a proven track record of converting Figma designs into dynamic websites.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
Implement and manage third-party API integrations.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate WordPress with React. js-based frameworks.
Optimize website performance, including load time, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
Ensure SEO best practices are followed for on-page and technical SEO.
Work on WooCommerce for e-commerce solutions, including customizations and integrations.
Use Divi and Elementor tools for building and customizing pages.
Convert Figma designs into responsive, dynamic WordPress websites.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Collaborate with the design team to implement new features and enhancements.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in WordPress development.
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Extensive experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
Proficiency in API development and integration.
Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
Experience with performance optimization techniques and tools.
Strong experience with WooCommerce, including customization and extensions.
Proficiency in using Divi and Elementor page builder tools.
Experience in converting Figma designs to WordPress websites.
Familiarity with React.js and integration with WordPress.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of Docker and containerisation.
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Understanding of web accessibility standards.
Experience with headless WordPress and REST APIs.
