We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven SEO/Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) practices and digital marketing strategies, with a keen interest in staying updated with the latest trends and updates in the online marketing world. This role is perfect for individuals who are just starting out in the digital marketing field and are eager to learn and grow.
Key responsibilities:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
1. Conduct keyword research using various tools (like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, etc.)
2. Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy.
Assist in implementing on-page SEO recommendations such as meta tags, internal linking, and content optimization.
3. Monitor and report on daily SEO tasks like backlink building and article submissions.
4. Understand and monitor site performance metrics and set up necessary tools for regular SEO audits.
5. Work closely with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented on all published content.
Digital Marketing:
1. Assist in the creation and management of Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads.
2. Contribute to social media marketing strategies and post schedules.
3. Monitor and analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
4. Collaborate with marketing teammates to support our advertising campaigns, email marketing strategy, and content-focused tasks.
5. Make recommendations for optimizing digital marketing campaigns based on performance metrics.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Business, or a related field is a plus.
0-2 years of experience in SEO or Digital Marketing.
Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Moz, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog).
Basic understanding of Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms.
Strong analytical mindset and skills, with the ability to draw conclusions from data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive mindset with an eagerness to learn and grow.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other related areas & a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms like WordPress (preferred but not required)
