SEO Manager Job

We are looking for an SEO specialist to coordinate SEO efforts, including onsite and offsite optimization and keyword expansion research. You'll also oversee paid search campaigns to ensure their success. We are looking for an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role. Your goal will be to ensure that content is search-engine friendly and optimized to increase our clients' profitability.

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute successful SEO strategies
2. Conduct keyword research to guide content teams
3. Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
4. Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy
5. Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building)
6. Collect data and report on traffic, rankings, and other SEO aspects
7. Work on staying abreast of SEO and integrated marketing trends

Requirements:

1. Open to work in shifts, including night shifts
2. Proven experience in SEO roles (preferably in news media organizations)
3. Knowledge of standard and current on-page and off-page SEO practices
4. Preparing detailed strategy reports
5. Compiling and presenting SEO guidelines to the Editorial
6. Developing link-building strategies
7. Knowledge of HTML/CSS
8. Good Knowledge in the implementation of schema mark-up for structured data on the Internet, on web pages, in email messages, and beyond.
9. Experience with SEO reporting
10. Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g. Keyword, Backlinko, Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ, SEMrush, Ahref) and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Web Trends)
11. Excellent communication skills
12. Strong organizational and leadership skills
13. Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude
