Shadow Teacher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist in lesson comprehension by re-explaining concepts as needed
2. Provide additional practice and reinforcement of concepts to ensure understanding
3. Implement individualized behavioral strategies to address specific needs
4. Help manage anxiety, attention difficulties, or meltdowns with effective techniques
5. Encourage emotional resilience and teach self-regulation strategies
6. Support the student in engaging appropriately with classmates
7. Model and reinforce positive social behavior and communication skills
8. Help the student participate in group activities and collaborative projects
9. Maintain detailed records of student progress, challenges, and achievements
10. Be the parent's eye-glass for the child's well-being in school
11. Attend therapy sessions when requested to understand methodologies to help their ward
12. Be prepared to manage unexpected situations like anger, tantrums, meltdowns, and emotional highs-lows, responding with patience and encouragement
