Key responsibilities:

1. Design and develop custom Shopify themes that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive across all devices
2. Customize existing Shopify themes to align with our brand guidelines and marketing strategy
3. Integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend the functionality of our store and improve efficiency
4. Optimize the store for performance and conversion rates, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers
5. Maintain and troubleshoot the store's codebase to ensure smooth operation and address any bugs that may arise
6. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in Shopify development
7. Collaborate effectively with designers, marketers, and other members of the team

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience building and customizing Shopify themes
2. Strong understanding of Shopify Liquid templating language and Shopify architecture
3. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including frameworks like jQuery)
4. Experience with Shopify Apps and integrations is a plus
5. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
6. A keen eye for design and a passion for creating user-friendly experiences
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills

Bonus points:

1. Experience with SEO best practices for e-commerce websites
2. Knowledge of front-end development frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js)
3. Experience with Git version control
