About the job

Key Responsibilities:

I. Social Media Strategy and Execution

1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals.
- Define target audiences, platform-specific approaches, and campaign objectives.

2. Content Creation & Management:
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging, and brand-consistent content (text, images, videos, etc.) for social platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Collaborate with designers, photographers, and content writers for visual and written content.

3. Campaigns & Ads:
- Plan, launch, and monitor paid social media campaigns to achieve specific KPIs such as leads, conversions, and brand awareness.
- Optimize campaigns using performance metrics and analytics tools.

4. Community Engagement:
- Monitor, respond, and engage with the community across platforms to foster relationships.
- Manage and mitigate negative comments and feedback professionally.

II. Public Relations (PR)

1. Media Outreach:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets.
- Draft press releases, media kits, and pitches for new launches, events, and campaigns.

2. Event Management:
- Plan and execute PR events, influencer collaborations, and brand activations to enhance public presence.

3. Reputation Management:
- Monitor online and offline media coverage to ensure a positive brand image.
- Address and manage any potential PR crises promptly and effectively.

III. Analytics and Reporting

1. Performance Tracking:
- Measure and analyze the success of social media and PR efforts using analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and third-party applications.
- Provide detailed monthly reports highlighting performance metrics, insights, and recommendations.

2. Trend Analysis:
- Stay updated on emerging trends, platform changes, and audience behavior to continuously optimize strategies.

3. Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams such as content writing, design, and sales to align campaigns with broader marketing objectives.
- Coordinate with external agencies and freelancers for PR or content development tasks as needed.

Other requirements

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.

2. 1-3 years of experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or public relations.

Skills and Competencies:

1. Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) and management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar).

- Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).

- Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar).

2. Creative Skills:

- Exceptional content creation and storytelling abilities.

- Strong copywriting and proofreading skills.

- Experience in video editing or graphic design is a plus.

3. PR Expertise:

- Strong understanding of media relations, press release writing, and event management.

- Crisis management experience is an advantage.

4. Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational and project management abilities.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
